Corey Chambers Consignment on eBay, Craigslist and Amazon Drop off Store

As the owner of greater Los Angeles' ( our newest location is Beverly Hills ) largest privately owned chain of consignment on eBay Drop Off Stores, I give eBay 3 stars and let everyone know that Amazon and Craigslist have surpassed eBay in some ways.

On the surface, we all know that eBay is clunky and confused. As a seller of used items on eBay, I have painfully witnessed eBay's real core problem. It is an auction site that thinks it's not an auction site. eBay wants to be Amazon and eBay at the same time, which is a recipe for failure. When eBay realizes that it is an auction site after all, then eBay will again bounce back to greatness. eBay still has the largest number of page views.

In a half-witted attempt to grab more money by discouraging expensive shipping, eBay recently decided to punish many sellers who sell and ship large items such as furniture and appliances. Because of this, Craigslist has now become the preferred venue to sell large household items. If you’ve sold many large household items that are expensive to ship, and have consequently received lower DSR seller ratings, eBay may be reducing your standing in the search engines. This will have a lowering effect of your items, especially newer items with much search engine competition. Because of that, Amazon is now the best place to sell new and newer used items.

Corey Chambers consignment on eBay is now Corey Chambers consignment on eBay, Craigslist and Amazon. We sell most large household items on Craigslist. We sell most new items on Amazon, and most other items on eBay.

For the average person who needs to sell valuables, it is most practical to use an eBay Trading Assistant. If you are in Southern California, and you want to make sure the right items are sold in the right venue to get the most money, then contact me at (714) 361-2655, visit our newest location at 264 S. La Cienega Blve, Suite 1051, Beverly Hills, CA 90211, or visit coreychambers.com Thank you, and I am hopeful that eBay will get its bearings straight and become the focused auction website that it is destined to be. -- Corey Chambers on eBay

With a lower commission percentage of 28% or less, the service actually costs less and delivers more, including a Top Dollar Guarantee, as well as a free marketing campaign with email notifications to potential buyers of your valuable. For instance, if you are selling a piece of artwork, Corey Chambers will contact collectors and dealers at no extra charge to notify them to bid on your auction on eBay so that your item will receive more bids and thus more money for you.

Having served many celebrities in the greater Los Angeles area, Corey Chambers has earned the reputation and moniker of “eBay Guru to the Stars.” One of Chambers’ first customers many years ago was actress Erika Alexander of the Cosby Show, and, more recently, starring as leading lady of the new film “La Mission,” alongside Benjamin Bratt. Erika Alexander asked Corey Chambers to sell her car on eBay Motors. The car was sold for top dollar in 10 days.

Being also known as “The King of Guitars on eBay,” Corey Chambers has also served many famous musicians and performers of Hollywood, selling hundreds of guitars, violins, saxophones, flutes, drums and many more musical instruments once used by many top musicians of the Los Angeles area.

A recent notable customer was the favored caterer of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. The caterer sold a valuable piece of Black Americana art, a rare signed limited lithograph print of “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot,’ by 1930s artist John McCrady. While the print was listed elsewhere with a retail value of $800, Corey Chambers’ auction of the print on eBay garnered $1,800 for the happy caterer.

Another celebrity, Patsy Barggren of General Hospital fame, volunteered to be spokesperson for the eBay Drop Off Centers after Corey Chambers got her $1,500 more than a classic car dealer offer her for her 1931 Ford Model A replica Ford Phaeton.
